Cetim, the French leading technological accelerator for industry, announces the signature of a new training contract with Technip Energies, a leading engineering and technology company in energy infrastructure and decarbonization. This agreement covers the international deployment of a strategic program dedicated to Design to Cost (D2C) (*) and Productization (**). This training framework, based on tailored instructional design and developed in partnership with Cost House, is fully aligned with the technological and operational transformation undertaken by Technip Energies.

LAUNCH OF A HIGH-STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

In May/June 2025, Cetim responded to an international tender for the design of a strategic training program aligned with Technip Energies’ productization challenges, in connection with Design-to-Cost.

To design this unique program, Cetim partnered with Cost House, a recognized player for more than ten years in D2C approaches in the energy sector.

‘We designed this training in collaboration with the training managers and the productization leaders and sponsors at Technip Energies. Two pilot sessions were then organized in Paris and Rome and were very successful among participants,’ explains Fadila Berrabah Mourier, Head of Instructional Engineering at Cetim.

INTERNATIONAL ROLLOUT IN 2026

Building on the initial results from the two pilot sessions, Technip Energies has entrusted Cetim with deploying this training through new sessions in 2026, not only in France in Paris and Lyon, but also internationally in Houston, Barcelona and Rome, with a session in India currently under discussion.

Integrated into T.EN University, Technip Energies’ training center dedicated to continuous learning and development for all employees, this first wave aims to train strategic populations and key experts, followed by a progressive upskilling of all teams.

A HIGH-VALUE PARTNERSHIP FOR THE INDUSTRIAL SECTOR

By combining the complementary expertise of Cetim and Cost House, Technip Energies benefits from a robust system aligned with its strategic priorities.

Cost House contributes proven expertise in Design to Cost and in optimizing the economic performance of industrial projects.

Cetim, for its part, leverages its technical, digital and industrial expertise across four key areas: skills development, training and technology transfer, support for competitiveness, and support for the sustainable transformation of industrial stakeholders.

Together, the partners are building a high value-added program that supports overall performance, transformation and the sustainable development of Technip Energies’ human capital.

*Design to Cost: target-cost design

**Productization: the process of modifying a concept or specific product to turn it into a commercial product.
